Take a look at our family favorite holiday show, The Grinch!
A timeless classic of the grouchy, solitary creature who attempts to put an end to Christmas. Despite his efforts the performers still celebrate and prove the meaning of the holiday.
Students learn choreography for the Winter Showcase in their regularly scheduled class time; however, there will be a few scheduled rehearsals outside of normal class time.
There are two in-studio rehearsals for two Saturdays leading up to the show.
Students are also be required to be present and in full costume for Dress Rehearsal the day before the show.
On the day of the show, students are checked-in and checked-out to by a member of our staff to ensure the safety of our students. Parents bring their dancer to their designated dressing room, which will be communicated prior to dress rehearsal day. Parents go inside the theatre and enjoy the performance.
Costumes are included in your production fee. We will measure your dancer and order appropriate sizes, and distribute costumes during class time.
All dancers wear “Classic Pink” tights available for purchase at the front desk. Dancers should also wear the shoes required of your regular class per the dress code.
At Wagner, we are a family-friendly studio environment. We want all of our dancers to go on stage looking and feeling their best.
We do not require heavy make-up, but suggest applying lipstick and rouge to make your dancer shine on stage.
Hair will be specified in class, but ALL headpieces for costumes are worn on the right side.
We ask for volunteers to chaperone the dressing rooms for Dress Rehearsal and the Show. These are our “Rockstar Moms” and we so appreciate all that they do backstage to help us run our shows.
Rockstar Moms get to be backstage and watch their dancer perform from the wings.
If you are interested in volunteering to be a Rockstar Mom, please speak with the front desk.
Your production fee (with costume) for the Winter Showcase is due September 15th. Please contact the front desk for more details.
