Congratulations to our new Dance Elite team!

Wagner Dance Arts' Dance Elite is much more than just a "performance team". Dance Elite is a group of dancers who are dedicated to dancing and have a passion for performing. Through Dance Elite, you will have the opportunity to learn and to grow in dance through various performances and competitions throughout the year. Dance Elite are also featured performers in the Wagner Dance Arts annual performance in June.

Elite members are required to follow a program of dance training including Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Tap and Tumbling. Members typically dedicate 3-8 hours per week to dance training. Your training as part of Elite is designed to develop and fine tune your skills to help you become an outstanding, well rounded performer. Included in your Elite training will be flexibility and strength development as well as a focus on technique and performance specific skills. Along with your dance training will be the development of self-confidence, respect, etiquette, responsibility, teamwork, commitment and self-esteem which can be applied in all aspects of your life.

The current three divisions are Senior Elite, Junior Elite, and Mini Elite. Wagner Elite Companies perform and participate at various functions throughout the year.

Auditions for dancers 5+ years old are held throughout the year with the annual audition held in June. Let us know if you are interested in becoming a member of Wagner's Dance Elite.

Requirements to be a part of Dance Elite

NEW! Peformance Elite - Ages 9+: Min. 3 classes/week
- Ballet, Performance Elite, All Elite
Mini Elite - Ages 5 to 7: Min. 3 classes/week
- Ballet, Jazz/Lyrical, Mini Elite
NEW! Power Elite - Ages 6 to 10: Min. 6 classes/week
- Ballet (2), Jazz, Lyrical, Jr. Elite, All Elite
Sr. Elite - Ages 12+: Min. 6 classes/week
- Ballet (2), Jazz, Lyrical, Sr. Elite, All Elite
All Dancers are selected by audition each year.
Attendance at extra rehearsals is required when needed.
Extra fees are required for uniforms, costumes, etc.
You Must be available for various rehearsals/performances through the year.
All dancers must attend Dance Elite classes continued through the Summer.

Being a member of Wagner’s Elite Company is the next step in your complete dance education and it takes a lot of dedication, hard work, and a strong desire but it is also a lot of fun.

- 24th - Dance Elite Performance at Gilbert Halloween Carnival
  Freestone Park, Time: Dancers arrive at 4:15 with hair and makeup done. Perform at 5:15 on the community stage.
November
- 14th - Dance Elite Gilbert Days Parade
  Downtown Gilbert, Morning, Time-TBD
December
- 5th - Dance Elite Performance at Festival of Trees
  Breakfast with Santa, arrive 9:30am perform at 10:30am
  Rome Towers 1760 E. Pecos Rd, Gilbert
- 12th - Dance Elite Performance at Glendale Glitters
  Late Evening, Time-9pm
February
- 7th - Glendale Chocolate Affair - 2:00pm
March
- 10th - Dance Elite Dress Rehearsal & Performance at
  Herberger Theatre Wiggle Your Waggles
  Rehearsal at 4:30
  Then Performance call time 6:30 & Perform 7pm
- 13 - Dance Elite Performance at Chandler Ostrich Festival Tumbleweed Park, Chandler. Call at 1pm perform at 2pm

- 17th - Dance Elite Performance at Gilbert Global Village Festival

- 18- Dance Elite rehearsal for Wagner Dance Arts Production
