Dance Elite
2008-2009 Performance Calendar | Requirements | Audition Information Request
Wagner Dance Arts' Dance Elite is much more than just a
"performance team". Dance Elite is a group of dancers who are
dedicated to dancing and have a passion for performing.
Through Dance Elite, you will have the opportunity to learn and
to grow in dance through various performances and competitions
throughout the year. Dance Elite are also featured performers in
the Wagner Dance Arts
annual performance in June.
Elite members are required to follow a program of dance training including Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Tap and Tumbling. Members typically dedicate 3-8 hours per week to dance training. Your training as part of Elite is designed to develop and fine tune your skills to help you become an outstanding, well rounded performer. Included in your Elite training will be flexibility and strength development as well as a focus on technique and performance specific skills. Along with your dance training will be the development of self-confidence, respect, etiquette, responsibility, teamwork, commitment and self-esteem which can be applied in all aspects of your life.
The current three divisions are Senior Elite, Junior Elite, and
Mini Elite. Wagner Elite Companies perform and participate at
various functions throughout the year.
Auditions for dancers 5+ years old are held throughout the
year with the annual audition held in June. Let us know if you are interested in becoming
a member of Wagner's Dance Elite.
